Arenas Guide

Eleven arenas, one ladder

Build A Mech! spreads its loot across 11 wild arenas. Each band asks more from your chassis, your pilot skill, and your deposit discipline. The game—by Gerwinfootball on Roblox, free since ~12 October 2026—still lets you earn offline, chase 1/10,000 paints, and assemble toward 30 mechs, but none of that matters if you pick the wrong zone for your current scrap bot or Titan.

This guide teaches progression logic across the eleven arenas without inventing fake map names the live client may label differently. Match zones to power using the Mech Tier List, gather efficiently with Farm Parts, and spend clear rewards via Build Mechs. Starters: Getting Started. Hub: Guides.

How to read an arena band

Ask four questions every time you zone in:

  1. Can I complete a full route without dying twice?
  2. Do part piles justify the travel time versus the previous band?
  3. Does my cargo usually make it home?
  4. Am I here to farm income or to unlock the next mech gate?

If (1) or (3) fail, drop a band. If (2) fails because piles feel empty for your speed, push up. If (4) is unlock-focused, accept slightly worse income for targeted components—then fall back to a comfort farm to stabilize.

Early arenas (bands 1–3): scrap classroom

Mech fit: C-tier scrap and first bridge frames.

Goals: Learn collect/deposit, camera habits, and safe greed limits. These yards teach the game’s physics more than they print endgame wealth.

Tips:

  • Run short loops; capacity is tiny.
  • Upgrade survival before racing into band 4.
  • Invite confused new players to split piles—~4-player servers make kindness easy (Players).
  • Do not chase trophy paints here (Paint Tier List).

Mid arenas (bands 4–7): income engine

Mech fit: B to A haulers that can take a hit and still deliver.

Goals: This is where most accounts live while funding serious crafts. Parts/minute should spike if your route discipline is clean.

Tips:

  • Design a landmark-based loop and stick to it for a full session.
  • When co-op partners arrive, assign halves of the map instead of stacking.
  • Keep a bailout path for 80% cargo moments.
  • Spend surplus on the next climber, not on maxing a comfortable B forever.
  • Reinvest offline payouts into mid-band efficiency (Cash guide).

Late arenas (bands 8–11): Titan country

Mech fit: Strong A climbers and S-tier Titans.

Goals: Rare components, prestige clears, and flex screenshots. Hazards and NPC pressure punish tourists.

Tips:

  • Scout once empty-handed if you are unsure—dying full is the classic mistake.
  • Bring the mech you can pilot, not only the biggest preview.
  • Alternate a late-band push with a mid-band cash-out so one wipe does not bankrupt the evening.
  • Scripts that teleport through late arenas are especially obvious and risky (Scripts).

Co-op arena etiquette

Small servers mean everyone notices bad manners:

  • Do not body-block deposits.
  • Call dibs lightly; share dense pile clusters.
  • Help scrap pilots find the exit back to base once—you were them.
  • Save PvP energy for games that are about PvP; this loop is cooperative-leaning simulation.

Arena session plans

Warm-up (10 min): Comfort band loop, deposit, check upgrade prices.

Push (20–30 min): One band higher than comfort; leave if two wipes hit.

Cash-out (10 min): Drop back, fill cargo, deposit, set offline state.

That sandwich prevents ego wipes from deleting an entire night of progress.

Signs you should change arenas now

  • Three deaths with more than half cargo lost.
  • Zero upgrades afforded after a long farm (wrong band or wrong spend—check Build Mechs).
  • Friends in a higher band while you cannot survive the entryway—farm upgrades first, then reunite.
  • You finished a craft that explicitly needed lower-band spam; move on.

Codes and arena boosts

No active codes as of November 2026 (Codes). If future codes grant arena boosts or part bundles, redeem them (How to Redeem) before a planned push session so the buff aligns with intent.

Pick arenas like a strategist, not a tourist, and all eleven zones become a staircase instead of a cliff.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How many arenas are in Build A Mech?

There are 11 wild arenas. Treat them as a difficulty ladder matched to your mech tier.

Which arena should beginners use?

Stay in the earliest bands until collect and deposit feel automatic, then step up one band at a time.

What if I keep dying in an arena?

Drop to a safer band, upgrade survivability, and practice piloting before another push.

Should I only farm the hardest arena I can enter?

No. Hardest entry is not always best parts per minute. Use a comfort farm for income and push bands for specific unlocks.

Do arenas matter for offline cash?

Indirectly. Stronger mechs funded by smart arena choice improve the loops that keep paying while you are away.
