Build A Mech Tier Lists
Rank mechs by progression value and paints by rarity so every upgrade and flex roll counts.
How we rank Build A Mech!
Build A Mech! is an incremental Roblox simulator by Gerwinfootball where you grow from a rusty scrap bot into a giant Titan, collecting parts across 11 arenas and assembling up to 30 mechs you pilot yourself. Cash keeps flowing even offline, servers stay small (~4 players), and cosmetic paints can be absurdly rare (up to 1 in 10,000).
This hub does not invent fake DPS sheets. Rankings focus on progression value: how quickly a mech or paint goal helps you clear arenas, haul parts, and unlock the next chassis. Meta will shift after patches—cross-check Updates—but the S/A/B/C framework below stays useful from early scrap through late Titan.
Tier lists on this wiki
Mech Tier List
Ranks chassis families by farming efficiency, piloting feel for the stage you are in, and value per cash sunk. Early scrap bots that open the first arenas sit differently than mid-game haulers and late Titans that trivialize pile routes. Use it before you dump a session of offline earnings into the wrong frame. Pair with Build Mechs for craft order and Arenas for where each tier actually belongs.
Paint Tier List
Orders finishes from common shop colors up through ultra-rare rolls near the 1/10,000 ceiling. Paints are mostly flex and collection goals—do not stall your Titan climb chasing a lottery coat unless you already clear content comfortably. Farming income tips live in Farm Parts and Cash & Offline Earnings.
Quick S–C snapshot (mechs)
| Tier | Role in progression | When to invest |
|---|---|---|
| S | Late Titans / peak haulers | Endgame routes, prestige flex, fastest clears |
| A | Strong mid-to-late climbers | Main upgrades once early scrap is done |
| B | Solid mid-game workhorses | Bridge tiers; upgrade when arenas stall |
| C | Early scrap / temporary frames | Fine for tutorial hours; replace on schedule |

Quick rarity snapshot (paints)
| Band | Rough rarity feel | Priority |
|---|---|---|
| Trophy | Near 1/10,000 ultra rares | Collect when rich; never block upgrades |
| High | Very uncommon drops | Nice flex after stable income |
| Mid | Uncommon / lucky finds | Equip if you like the look |
| Common | Frequent / shop-adjacent | Cosmetics only; easy to replace |

How to use these lists in a real session
- Confirm your current arena band with Arenas Guide.
- Check whether your chassis is C-tier scrap that should be replaced (Mechs).
- Spend cash on the next A/S upgrade path from Build Mechs before buying luxury paints.
- Run efficient loops from Farm Parts.
- Leave the game in a good offline state (Cash guide).
- Only then chase trophy paints if you enjoy collection play.
New players should start at Getting Started before obsessing over S-tier labels. Codes—if they ever appear—will be tracked on the Codes Hub; they should supplement, not redefine, these tiers.
Ranking criteria (transparent)
- Arena access — Does the mech let you survive and loot the next wild zone?
- Haul efficiency — Parts per minute after deposits, not just top speed in a straight line.
- Upgrade ROI — Cash spent versus time saved over the next few hours.
- Pilot tax — Awkward frames that fight the controls rank lower even if they look big.
- Offline synergy — Builds that keep earning while you are away score higher for busy players.
- Paint rarity — Independent track; rarity ≠ power unless a future update says otherwise.
Community automation can distort how fast you climb; see Scripts Hub for feature lists and ban-risk warnings. Manual play still follows the same tier logic.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is the mech tier list based on exact stats?
No. Rankings use progression value—arena access, haul efficiency, and upgrade ROI—grounded in the scrap-to-Titan fantasy without fake numeric spreadsheets.
Should I chase rare paints early?
Usually no. Unlock stronger mechs and stable farming first; trophy paints are collection goals that can be as rare as 1 in 10,000.
Where are the full rankings?
Open the Mech Tier List and Paint Tier List pages linked from this hub for S/A/B/C breakdowns and rarity bands.
Will tiers change after updates?
Yes. Check the Updates Hub after patches and adjust spending if haul rates or arena difficulty shift.
